Creating Expansion

I created this body of work out of an act of desperation. The world went belly up, and it didn’t just affect ME, it affected everyone. We were lost, lonely, isolated, we had no financial stability, no emotional support. I was out of my routine, and I turned to painting during this crazy time of transition.

From March-May of Covid-19 stay at home orders I created a body of work that helped me to expand. To elevate, to grow, to increase, to find space, to appreciate the small things.

I took it upon myself to create a series of beauty, a moment of calm, a little bit of peace among the chaos, and I used this as an opportunity to connect with my community. To connect with YOU.

I know that releasing a series of paintings won’t change the world, but I hope at least it will make you smile and see a little bit of the good today.
